The French Patisserie

I have specialised my business of fine cake making as it should be. That is, in the artisan style where the craftsman both respects and is proud of his trade.

All our products are made not only from scratch and daily are so many claim, but also without any store-bought cake mixes or preservatives. This way, I can give all of my cakes a distinctive flavour and texture. In other words there is no one recipe fits all in my kitchen and all cakes can be adjusted to client requirements.

Also, in an endeavour to make my cakes among the best you’ve had, I never use imitations of any kind. I believe, so long as we are fortunate enough to access top quality, fresh ingredients than they should always be used. I have relationships with a number of local producers and wholesalers who provide fresh dairy, nuts, vanilla beans, fruits, eggs and chocolate, all of which go into making my cakes the best available.

The use of top quality produce combined with excellent food hygiene standards, and respecting the art of fine cake making leads to my customers enjoying the safe and brilliant experience that a quality patisserie offers.

BLACKFORREST GATEAUX

Black Forest gâteaux consists of several layers of chocolate sponge cake sandwiched with whipped cream and cherries. A truly decadent desert!

A delicious blend of a fine chocolate mousse layered with chocolate sponge and topped with a soft dark chocolate ganache.

HAZLENUT PARIS BREAST

A very French dessert – round choux pastry, filled with a divine hazelnut praline cream, topped with toasted almonds. First created in 1910 for the famous bicycle race for which it is named, its lightly sweet and rich without being heavy.

MIXED FRUIT TART

Layers of fresh seasonal fruit on top of creme patissiere and finished with apricot glaze. The fruits used will change with the seasons as we only use the freshest of ingredients.
